Bias Lighting Troubleshooting

If your unit isn’t working properly, please try the following before submitting a warranty claim. These quick checks often resolve the issue and help us assist you faster:

  1. Remove and reinsert the remote control battery. It may have shifted slightly during shipping.

  2. Try a different power source, such as a TV or computer USB 3.0 port. This helps rule out the AC adapter.

  3. Unplug the dimmer module from the USB cable and connect the light directly. If it works without the dimmer, the dimmer may need to be replaced.

  4. Make sure all connectors are fully inserted and not loose. Check for bent pins or visible damage on the plugs or dimmer connectors.

  5. If you recently installed a new LED strip, confirm that the arrows or “+5V” markings on the connectors align correctly.

  6. If possible, test the unit with another USB power source that you know works properly.

Your results from these steps will help us hit the ground running from our first response. Most of all, relax — we’ll get you up and running quickly.
