Spears & Munsil Replacement Filter (Does not work for HDR displays)
- Description
The Spears & Munsil Blue Filter is available for purchase as a standalone item for those who require a physical replacement or an additional unit. Please be advised that these filters are technically obsolete for modern HDR displays. We continue to offer them solely to satisfy persistent consumer demand and to maintain historical continuity with legacy calibration workflows.
Fulfillment of standalone filter orders requires the manual de-kitting of a complete Ultra HD Benchmark retail unit. This process involves a labor-intensive adjustment to our inventory. We remind all prospective purchasers that one filter is already included with every Spears & Munsil disc as a standard line item. (It's a much better deal.)
If your display features a dedicated Blue Only mode, we recommend utilizing that internal function. If your display lacks this mode, the reference montage on the disc is the appropriate instrument for verifying color saturation. Please refer to the user guide for technical instructions regarding modern display standards.
